this was my first moe. show, after being turned on to 'em and diggin 'em hard for a few months...
i was blown away - knew it would be great but they were even better than expected. this show is a little more straightforward than some - jams are more groovin and a little less trippy than some shows. but being a moe.virgin, i was really liking the wormwood stuff and the dither tunes - and this show is heavy on both...
the meat>cia>meat just shreds - probably my favorite version of all the meats i've heard. the captain america is a little fast for my taste (i think the groove works better when they sit down on it a bit more), but most of the live ca's are...very nice encore, too.....
the sound source here is pretty nice, and the crowd energy and the venue is just fantastic (as it is on the "instant live" from 12.6.03, also at the newport).
it was a great first live moe. show and a great one for ya to add to your download collection.

This show was technically amazing. Every part was individually da bomb! A lot of tracks off wormwood make this show an instant classic. Meat with a little CalifornIA flavor was excellent. Karma police tied it up well, as Al says," This is what you get when you mess with us" Jon Osterstock rules !!!!

p.s. I had digital blips and a blackout during Meat on my cds. I don't know if it was a decompression product but I was wondering if you would check the cds and fix them if the files got corrupted.
